The art or work of choosing a career path is comprised of three simple steps. Those steps require time, and a lot of honesty.

How can you choose a career in 3 steps?

1. Personal Evaluation
Write a list of your hottest desires. Do you get a thrill at taking a person who looks plain and making them into a glamorous person? Do you like to tell people what to do? What do you instinctively know? What do you have to work at to know?

2. Decide and know what turns you on
Do you want a career that has a short commute? Do you want fame? Do you want power?

3. Research
Use the Internet and books in the library to tell you what a specific job does. For instance if you like art, you can narrow your search to art houses, auctions, graphic artist and more. Under each specific job that interests you look for information on what education is required, and median pay for that job. In addition, if someone is doing something that interests you ask them how they got into that career.

After all of these steps have been accomplished you should be closer to achieving your career choice goal.

Resume template is the best tool you can have and your love and interest in what you want to do. Without that information, you will have difficulty being happy in your career choice. As you are choosing your career just remember that this is something you will wake up and do for most of your life so, can you handle that?
