The position: Search engine optimization analyst for Esurance
Location: San Francisco
Job duties: Analyzes search engine optimization processes, develops best practices standards and integrates SEO alongside other acquisition channels. Will be expected to maintain comprehensive knowledge of best practices, including areas of search marketing. Will audit existing practices and ensure site is accessible, user-friendly and aligned with brand positioning. Will manage a variety of SEO initiatives including design, channel interaction and budget allocation. Job also involves analyzing revenue generation from SEO activities, including customer acquisition and site monetization. Will prepare reports on SEO performance including project return on investment.

Requirements: Requires college degree in computer science, technical writing or a related field. Must have at least four years of experience with search engine optimization or search engine marketing. Background with online marketing and/or customer acquisition or experience as a Webmaster or Web editor is preferred, as is project management certification. Requires strong analytical and project management experience and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure within a collaborative team environment. Technical writing experience is preferred.
